United Materials has lost one of our own. Bryon Sheldon succumbed to a long battle with cancer. Bryon was a ready-mixed concrete driver at our Sanborn location, and anyone who worked with or personally knew him understood that he had a unique way about him and a passion for life. Bryon was open about his battle with cancer and fought it courageously, with dignity, humor, and, as always, his own sarcastic touch. As a work family, it is difficult to lose a fellow employee like Bryon at such a young age. Bryon took his job seriously and was proud of his conveyor truck, 241. If you had Bryon on your job, you would remember him, without question.
